You can't build in installation maps but you can preplace buildings with editors like scmdraft 2

There is only 1 terrain tile where you can build on.
Sadly I don't know which one.
But searching for that helped me finding the answer:

There might also be some null-buildable.
That's about it though.
Additionally, Zerg creep will look pretty weird and not exactly work correctly.

creep tiles will be black squares. so u have black squares + creep edges where the creep ends.
