Ok so I played firefighters before and I like the idea of how your unit gets slow if it carries too much water so I'd like to know how to recreate that.

:payne:

Repeatedly move a burrowed unit under its feet.
Don't forget to use Hyper Triggers.

Adding to what payne said, control the number of times a burrowed unit gets moved under your unit. The more often you move the burrowed unit, the slower your hero will get.

Is there a limit to how much the unit's speed is affected? Additionally, would a Defiler do anything different than a Zergling if burrowed and moved under a unit?

We can't explain the universe, just describe it; and we don't know whether our theories are true, we just know they're not wrong. >Harald Lesch

If one or more units are moved under (burrowed) or above (flying) a unit it will not move for that frame. Hyper triggers only fire every other turn, so the max slowdown is 50%

An artist's depiction of an Extended Unit Death

Yes, there is a limit because triggers can only fire so fast. If you move the burrowed unit every trigger loop, that's the slowest you can make the unit move. If you want it to be scalable, use a death counter to only have it occur once every X trigger loops, like Jaff was saying.

It doesn't matter which burrowed unit you use. Air units and power-ups technically work as well.

Symmetry shouted: NudeRaider Is EUD editor capable of writing shit onto the player's harddrive? That seems like it would be dangerous
yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier
