It's like Warlocks from Warcraft 3.

Each player controls a Psionic Warrior and has a variety of abilities - all fully upgradeable and customizable. You fight to the death on a number of arena-style maps, all contained within the one map.

At the end of every 'round' which can last 1 minute to 5 minutes depending on the Timer Setting chosen, you get to upgrade your Psionic Warriors abilities through a series of dialogues.

I am currently 20% complete with this and it is in a somewhat playable state. Me and Ahli played a bit last night and well, it was version 0.01 so a lot of changes happened pretty much immediately.

Currently there are 3 abilities implemented:
  • Psionic Missile - Q
    • Launches a missile at target point dealing up to between 4 and 20 damage. (5 levels)
    • Cooldown begins as 2 seconds, but can be upgraded to no cooldown (2 levels)
    • Energy cost begins at 12, but can be upgraded to only cost 2 (5 levels)
  • Phase Jump - W
    • The Psionic Warrior leaps through the air at a target point.
    • Can be upgraded to deal damage where he lands, between 5 and 10 (3 levels)
    • A knockback effect can be added to the impact where he lands, between 1 and 5 range knockback (5 levels)
    • Cooldown and range can also be upgraded from 6 cooldown and 8 range to 3 cooldown and 15 range.
  • Psionic Defence Orb - E
    • The Psionic Warrior summons a Protoss Point Defence Drone.
    • Shoots down nearby enemy missiles for 5 energy each, the Orb starts with 20 energy.
    • Energy can be upgraded to a total of 100
    • Duration and cooldown can be upgraded from 12 seconds duration and 30 second cooldown to 30 second duration with a 20 second cooldown.
    • Can also be upgraded with a slowing aura which slows nearby enemies by 8% to 40% (5 levels)

So far, I have implemented the upgrades for the Psionic Missile (as well as the Dialogues and everything else, so they work 100%). The Dialogues have been implemented for Phase Jump and Defence Orb, but I havn't started adding the triggers to upgrade them accordingly.

Anyways, I'll be adding about 10 to 20 abilities, 3 to 4 hero types and I want suggestions!

There was already a game like this it was something like pentagon arena, pretty epic game still >:O

haha for sure. in some ways it's even more exciting because you can play EUD maps on regular battle.net, don't need to convince someone to download your mod to play with you. what did you do?
