Master has given Dobby a doctorate! Dobby is free!

I declare Mafia victory due to us having killed the host.

I declare townie victory due to the host becoming so bored with the failure of the mafia that he just plain left.

None.

Yo dawg, we had the game wrapped up, and he knew it. Mafia victory.

Meh, at least I got to sabotage one more kiddo :)

Sad that I told you N1 or whenever you asked that I was the saboteur and it took you this long to trust me :P

I was really excited to have my box of stuff relieved from me, as well.

I have to admit I was curious to see what some of it did. Aristo said all the weapons were added hits and new hits for us, and the metal plate acted as armor (which I probably would have taken since I'm sure at least one person tried to kill me this game). The bible was interesting, though, as it eventually might have had some use.

This sounds strangely unlike a Mafia game. I wonder what Aristocrat had planned.

I wanted to find out what the diary meant, DevliN. Q_Q

None.

Jan 20 2011, 4:02 am DevliN Post #435

Woah

Yeah, that's what I meant, not the Bible. My assumption is that it would have revealed roles. It would have sucked to spend turns reading that, though, when I could just investigate and follow people on my own.

What diary?

None.

Jan 20 2011, 4:05 am DevliN Post #437

Woah

There was a diary in the crate that was taken from Roy's room. Aristo said it would take an action to read it, so I didn't bother checking it ever.

How dare you steal from the Swashbuckler!

How come I don't know of my own diary's contents?

Jan 20 2011, 4:20 am DevliN Post #439

Woah

What I didn't get was I investigated you, but you were in your room so I apparently ended up in another. In the new room, I stole the crate, apparently from a doctor as the next day the doctor had no tools. On the other hand, it seemed like you lost the crate from your room, so i r confuz'd.

There was a diary... would've been interesting to find out what secrets you had, Roy.

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.

NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier
