IN THE FUTURE THERE ARE ZOMBIES AND THEY ARE IN SPACE AND THEY ARE THE FORCES YOU CONTROL YAAAAA

This is a very simple game I made over the course of about three days. Each player controls a Deathspire (mobile Brood Lord Cocoon) which carries out almost all unit production. Losing it = gg. All units, except the Deathspire, Hivebent (drone), Necromancer (unique Leviathan that is sort of a mobile Nydus Worm), and structures are cloaked, but you can get Soul Seekers (Overseers) starting immediately. And that's about it. Very simple game, as I said.

Some tips:
-Peeky Stations combo well with Boomsauces, because you can use the Peeky Station to detect enemy Soul Seekers, then ram the Boomsauces into the Soul Seekers. Done well, this will decimate enemy supply, and can really put them behind economically.
-To prevent the above strategy, get Guardians.
-The Riftgate is essential to your economy, because if you wait too long to get it you'll end up with a large stockpile of minerals and no way to spend it.
-Use Necrotic Boost whenever possible.
-Do not let yourself have too many minerals built up. Even with a Portalgate you can only have three units building at once. If you do somehow get too many minerals, mass Boomsauces and stop building Drones.

so yah

(The game is already on bnet, as "Necrotic Space".)

Ultraviolet -- I suppose we'll likely never know, but my guess would be that they already saw it operating successfully and there was no monetary incentive to finish the original work. And the dev cycle in old school Blizzard was so hectic, it's possible it just got forgotten about after the original game got released. Plus there's an element of existing MPQ files that were packaged with the original discs becoming outdated if they updated it. And it's not like they remade the original MPQs, they just made new ones for BW specifically

Oh_Man -- so that makes me think maybe the theory they are unfinished is not true and its a deliberate design decision, coz why not finish them wen ur making brood war?
[04:25 am]
Oh_Man -- the thing is thos buildings are from classic. that means they went ahead and made brood war without ever finishing the 'unfinished' buildings

Ultraviolet -- Yeah he's talked about a lot of that stuff in his casts before. It seems plausible. Especially knowing how Blizzard of yesteryear operated.

NudeRaider -- to clarify: couldn't recall the behavior for every single Protoss building but I was aware the disparity exists.

NudeRaider -- Contained nothing new for me. Didn't know all building's behavior, but very much all unit's. Also Terran balance whine - also nothing new

Oh_Man -- makes me wonder if SEN knows anything about the topic
