Can anyone help me track down observer versions of the new maps used in the Proleague 2010-2011 season? TeamLiquid only has the melee versions, Panschk doesn't have the maps at all, the preview pack has observer versions but they aren't of the latest version of the map, and I can't find them on Google.

The exact maps are (4)Grand Line SE, (4)Aztec, (2)Benzene, (3)Central Plains, (4)Fortress, (4)Circuit Breaker, (4)Icarus and (4)Empire of the Sun (and (2)Flight-Dreamliner, too, since I can't find that, either).

I'd make the observer versions myself, but they're protected.

Unprotect them yourself. It's not that hard. I was able to unprotect 4 of them. Here they are.

Jesus Christ, you'd think mods wouldn't be such assholes when someone misreads a post.

Thanks, but there's still five more that aren't. :><:

Well, I've been looking for an observer version of (2)Flight-Dreamliner from the Korean Air OSL, too. :P

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.

NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

not the map, the editor

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier
