In this map you start out with one unit. Recruitable units will spawn randomly around the map and will join your cause if you walk up to them. By doing this, you can amass a pretty big army and destroy your opponents!

Max 8 players. Free for all.

You only get more units by recruiting, except for reviving your Tauren and making SCVs from your base.

There's no check to balance out where they spawn, but In my experience, there hasn't really been any instant tide turning like that.

A pretty fun game I'd say, check it out near the bottom of the list! Or by... searching it, I guess.

I am HighVoltPIES.469 in sc2... just so we're clear on that.

Woah

Yeah, this really should have some more description and images. How many players can play at a time? Can players ally with each other to win, or does it have to be FFA? Do you only get units by recruiting, or do you get a steady amount of units by default? Is there any check in place to balance out where recruits spawn, in case one player manages to randomly get a bunch of recruits near him and dominates the game?

The screenshots look really intense.
We played the map on Map Night and it wasn't like that, but I guess it was because it was a Full House: no one had time to get such an army (or I didn't have time to encounter one :P).

The game is very snowball, as the more of the map you control, the more stuff you instantly get as soon as it spawns. I lost my initial army of 6 units early and had to buy scv's to recruit more ='( maybe make the tauren marine have a respawn time instead of costing 350 elusive minerals?

Ultraviolet -- I suppose we'll likely never know, but my guess would be that they already saw it operating successfully and there was no monetary incentive to finish the original work. And the dev cycle in old school Blizzard was so hectic, it's possible it just got forgotten about after the original game got released. Plus there's an element of existing MPQ files that were packaged with the original discs becoming outdated if they updated it. And it's not like they remade the original MPQs, they just made new ones for BW specifically
