Someone should make a starcraft 2 interface for chess that follows the UCI protocol if possible.

I'm pretty sure such a map would become very popular since anyone could write an engine that would work with it. The chess game would be playable in 3D.

In other words, one person writes the GUI interface and anyone can make an engine that would be compatible with it.

Anyone think it's a good idea? Anyone needs any clarification in order to understand what I meant?

I'm pretty sure it is not using the UCI protocol.
