Is There anyway To Create Larvas?

None.

Create hatchery, remove hatchery, move larva to location x.

Hatcheries will always generate 1 larva when created.

None.

I preplaced hives, gave the larva somewhere to stay, then moved them to the area and gave them away in this map. It's not as efficient as Aristocrat's method, since you'll constantly be using 4xnumber of hives units. Really though you shouldn't be playing a map that comes close to the map max and messing with making larvae.

Also, the hatchery has to stay around for a frame or two to make the larvae. you can't make and remove in the same trigger.

Yeah, I forgot to mention that.

Also, moving a hatchery or larva breaks the connection between it and the hatchery, so the "3 larva per hatch" is not enforced for larvae that moved.

None.

I attached a map that has a trail of larvae running across water. I was looking for another one I used to have, it was a bound entirely larva-based, but it doesn't seem to be in my download folder anymore.

There should be enough information in the thread to get it working properly though.

Are you sure that moving the larva breaks the connection? When I was testing out my linked map, I originally had the larvae moved onto a piece of walkable null, but then they would always move back to the hive cluster, since a unit on walkable null can walk over any terrain until they reach normal walkable terrain, at which point they revert to a normal unit.

Symmetry -- Man I wish we had this tech back in the day when people played ums lmao
[06:28 am]
NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.

NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

not the map, the editor

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier

NudeRaider shouted: Symmetry I can't tell if it's relevant. You provided literally no context so I was providing an equally generic answer.
