Try to recall what flavor of granola bars your character likes.

EzTerix, I know where you are. I also know that you can't do shit with lights off. Post your turn PMs and I'll give back your illumination.

You pull on the string, and feel what seems to be stairs extend down to the floor. You carefully climb up the stairs, still in pitch black darkness. You feel around the room and touch what seems to be another string hanging from the ceiling.

Okay Aristocrat that was my turn... if you want me to explore some more then turn on the fricken lights in the attic...
I've also barricaded myself in the room I'm currently in... if you want me to un-barricade my self just say the word.

You pull the string, and the lights come on. Looking around, you appear to be in the attic, where a number of medium-sized cardboard boxes are strewn about. There is also a sofa and a piano here.

Aside from the stairs going down, the attic continues to the east.

Assuming this the attic is extends 2 rooms at least in your map

I'm currently barricaded right now.. I'll try to preserve as much evidence I can and I'll leave the room when somone else has something more substantial

What do you guys think of Roy's story? Azrael doesn't seem to make grammar mistakes that often, but the details of his story are fairly vivid, so I might just think he's throwing in the towel after all.

Doubt it. Doesn't account for the owner's calmness in death. Too simple. No motive provided.

Well there's no motive provided, but it's still implied there could be one. He was impatient while waiting and indicated the crowd would complicate things. That sounds premeditated to me.

The calmness is admittedly hard to get a fix on, though. If the owner truly could not comprehend what had just occurred, it's possible he just didn't live long enough to generate an emotional response...?

At the risk of whatever suspicion it'll entail, I vote we kill him anyway. :hurr:

Y'all do whatever. My opinion on whether Roy should live or die is meaningless as I am too far away to participate or intervene; I thus have no opinion.

If he tries to make a run for it and attacks me, I'll do whatever has to be done as part of my danger action, but I won't attack him without provocation.

Fine have it your way.

I'll be at the top of the stairs to prevent him from going this way at least. It's up to you and Tempz to find something to make him innocent, if you really think that's important.

Edit: I'm giving this whole "empirical evidence" thing 3 more turns to get off its arse until I start urging we switch to lynch mode. I'm just not finding anything to work with here. Unlimited patience isn't one of my special gifts. :massimo:

An artist's depiction of an Extended Unit Death

Aww... The whole reason for posting that was to prove that you guys were taking any posted evidence and putting it against your current beliefs on who is the killer. You ruined it by actually believing it to be true and wanting to kill me.

By the way, there are grammatical errors? I had everything in present-tense by mistake and then changed them to past after I was done with the details, but I may have forgotten some. Minus that, I suppose it was rather convincing, no?

I made the torch, by the way (Azrael was generous with my last turn's actions :P)! And it's pretty decent, I'd say, with the statistics presented to me (Unless those are generic statistics, in which case, it's pretty generic). I can do an actual recollection action, but all my actions have gone to making the torch and I haven't had time to use one. I guess I should, since I was the first to stumble upon the body; maybe my observations may yield something significant, such as whether I saw someone exit as I entered. That would at least narrow the suspects down to a direction.

Oh, and if my attempt to make an Azrael recollection was too convincing for you, here's what I've been doing the past two turns:
Quote
You slide the end of the meat hook through your belt loop, and put the sugar in your back pocket. It fits in a little over halfway, enough for it to not fall out.

You look through the kitchen and find a mixing bowl and wooden spoon. You mix in the appropriate amounts of corn starch and water, adding a bit of vegetable oil, and begin mixing it slowly as it becomes extremely thick.

You note that you are wearing a long-sleeve button-up shirt.
Quote
You flip the chair on its side, and after resting one foot on the bottom chair leg, you bring your other foot down hard on the upper one. It makes a loud snapping sound, and you repeat the process twice more, resulting in the leg breaking off.

You then use both hands to attempt to rip the fabric from your sleeve, and manage to cause a small tear. Pulling it further apart, the sleeve finally rips free from the rest of your shirt. You soak it in the mixture, then wrap it around the end of the chair leg, tucking the end under the last wrap.

You turn the burner on with one hand, placing the end of the makeshift torch into the flame with the other. The fabric flares up for a moment, then settles down into a steady fire. You turn off the burner as you step back from the stove.

Wing Zero sprints into the room from the north and leaves to the west.
Full and uncut (Aside from the note Az left me regarding the torch). Take it or leave it.

Edit: I was going to include that after killing the owner, I would enjoy the rush I received from killing and have a thirst for blood, thus leading into wanting everyone else dead. Somehow I forgot to write that.

Edit2:
Quote
began entered the room
Dammit. I'm not fooling anyone with that error...

Roy only 1 person in our whole group ought to be making up information, and if enough of us are contributing information, those lies would eventually have to start floating to the surface. Regardless of how convincing they are, there's only a finite amount of possibilities once the inconsistencies start showing up.

And remember you are circumstantially still the most suspect of our group.

Alright, fair enough. Were you honestly expecting the killer would post his unabridged/unedited recollection directly on the forum, though?

A recollection action is basically mandatory for me now, I suppose? Although I have noticed you've had a relentless suspicion on me since the beginning of the game. Want my torch? :D

Enough antics have been pulled in this game already. After 2 weeks of game time, I would believe the killer ought to start getting impatient. I know I am, at least.

I know I was the first to find the body, but really? First impressions are hard to change...

Minimum kill count:
Aristocrat: 1
David: 1
Roy: 0

Circumstantially, I would say that I wouldn't necessarily be the most suspect by stumbling upon a body, versus others who are making them. To each their own, though.

I realize after killing the afkers, I'll have the highest kill count, but I believe that was your suggestion to begin with.

What I've actually been planning, by the way, is to hypnotize arkla, since a zoned-out state sounds similar to the alpha state. I couldn't find anything about an absolute mind control sort of thing, but I did find a few sources about implementing a specific action on a target when they're in a sleep-like state of mind. If I can get arkla to kill Viet through hypnosis, I will count it as a win for this game, regardless of whether or not I die before the killer.
