I've made myself some awesome WLM emotes, and a WLM hack allows me to mimic replacing the defaults. When I send a message with ":D", for example, the hack autoconverts that to ":Ð", which is the code for a custom.

Taking a summer course at my new college, and loving it (though I waste five hours daily in transit; that'll change). We're going over manual drafting, Autocad, Python and C in class, and thinking of setting up a notes database or wiki-thing outside of it. It's so nice to actually be doing something useful with my time.

yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.[2026-7-15. : 4:10 am]
