20 Questions
Again.

Alright, so you all know how this works. I was thinking of adding a whole bunch of dumb, complicated rules this time around, but I figure if I need to be doing that, then we're doing something wrong, and therefore I hate you. So let's just stick to some simple ones:
  1. It's called 20 questions, but I won't keep count if you don't. Unless it starts getting ridiculous.
  2. Person who correctly guesses the current Answerer's 'thing' gets the next turn.
  3. If the Answerer refuses their turn or takes more than 2 days to respond to a question (or else I otherwise lose my patience), let's move on without them. First come, first served, in this case.
  4. If an Answerer picks something ridonkulously hard to guess, feel free to throw them a blanket party until logic or unconsciousness sets in. Whichever comes first.
  5. If a Questioner asks something ridonkulously hard to answer, or else just plain stupid, feel free to throw them a blanket party, too. Or just ignore them.
  6. Otherwise, as Answerer, it's basically your game during your turn. Don't abuse it.

Answerers (oldest first):
  1. Me. - Doorknob
  2. Symmetry - Candle
  3. Me again. - Magnet
  4. Azrael.Wrath - Light
  5. chia.tyrant - Flower
  6. Demented Shaman - Toilet
  7. LoTu)S - Sword
  8. chia-tyrant - Boat
  9. Symmetry - Royce Gracie (MMA fighter)
  10. Demented Shaman - HoN
  11. Symmetry - Paper clip
  12. chia-tyrant - Church
  13. Sup. - Punishment - Hard mode!
  14. chia-tyrant - Luck
  15. NudeRaider - Heat
  16. chia-tyrant - A question
  17. Hi. - ??? - Pictionary mode! - Forfeited turn.
  18. Azrael.Wrath - Seagull
  19. MadZombie! - ??? - Forfeited turn.
  20. FaRTy1billion - Asthma Pump
  21. MadZombie! - Candle - Aborted turn.
  22. poison_us - ???

So, I'm thinking of a thing. What is it?

Probably in a Lewis Caroll story it would be.

No.
Holy crap, this is how 20 questions should look, not "in a Lewis Carol novel" or "could be considered that".

Is it a common implement, such as a vacuum?

DarkenedFantasies -- Probably just didn't care. For example, at some point before release, they've updated the graphics of some of the Protoss buildings (Forge, CyberCore, Citadel, Observatory, Arbiter Tribunal), but instead of properly re-rendering them with edited 3D models, they did crappy copy-paste jobs on the rendered graphics.

Symmetry -- :wob:

Ultraviolet -- I suppose we'll likely never know, but my guess would be that they already saw it operating successfully and there was no monetary incentive to finish the original work. And the dev cycle in old school Blizzard was so hectic, it's possible it just got forgotten about after the original game got released. Plus there's an element of existing MPQ files that were packaged with the original discs becoming outdated if they updated it. And it's not like they remade the original MPQs, they just made new ones for BW specifically

Oh_Man -- so that makes me think maybe the theory they are unfinished is not true and its a deliberate design decision, coz why not finish them wen ur making brood war?
[2026-6-21. : 4:25 am]
Oh_Man -- the thing is thos buildings are from classic. that means they went ahead and made brood war without ever finishing the 'unfinished' buildings
[2026-6-20. : 6:15 pm]
Ultraviolet -- Yeah he's talked about a lot of that stuff in his casts before. It seems plausible. Especially knowing how Blizzard of yesteryear operated.
[2026-6-20. : 3:47 pm]
NudeRaider -- to clarify: couldn't recall the behavior for every single Protoss building but I was aware the disparity exists.
[2026-6-20. : 3:43 pm]
NudeRaider -- Contained nothing new for me. Didn't know all building's behavior, but very much all unit's. Also Terran balance whine - also nothing new

Oh_Man -- makes me wonder if SEN knows anything about the topic
