Hear me Raor!!

This is a map idea I am working on for an rpg,
The unit that you control is only .1 scale of the map.
I have units that are normal scale/ .1 scale to show the difference as well.
I didn't mess with the units much so you might not be able to get very close to them :)
Attack is the mouse click, ... can't attack anything.. but the animation/ damage technically work.
and select your little unit at the begin of the map to zoom into him and start the system, ( Wont be like this in the rpg )
W ( = forward in the direction you are pointing with the mouse, when it first zoom in.. it might not be on the unit all the way. I am trying to fix it, but just move your mouse a bit and it just link up to the unit )
A+E Strafe will come next!
( My Computer sucks so it kinda lags, I just want to know if it does that on a good computer!!! )

Hear me Raor!!

You think its just to much to process the .1 scale at that zoom?
I might try like .5 then :(

( The unit may be choppy because I have not quite found the best settings for that scale )
Also in the map there wont be huge ass normal scale units, ( They really seem to slow down the computer lol )

This one does not have the big guys!!
also it should be better if you don't view the entire plane, I am going to not allow the camera to go all the way down to the ground, but i gotta figure it out first :)

Pretty cool. I noticed you can't get up close next to the stuff, are those the original sized unit/building footprints and is it possible to change them?

Hear me Raor!!

I can't post the new one :(
I updated the map

( New way to move is you click the right mouse button, and use your mouse for your camera, W still goes with your camera, you can attack the zerglings with the left click, ( Their size is small so you might miss. )

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.

NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

not the map, the editor

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

Symmetry shouted: NudeRaider Is EUD editor capable of writing shit onto the player's harddrive? That seems like it would be dangerous
yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier
