Here's a map that I'm almost done with. The only major thing that I have to do is extend the ramp where the large red circles are in the middle (it's so tedious; I don't wanna do it D:). The minerals circled in green in the mains have values of 500, while the minerals circled in red have values of 2500.

One thing that leaps out at me is that you only have eight mineral patches on the map and only six geysers. I'm not an authority on that, but it seems like a problem to me...

Tankable area behind main mineral patch?

Otherwise.. looks cool :D

Blue's entrance leading to the mineral-only looks a bit tight compared to Red's.

Is it just me or are the mains really big?

None.

Not just you. Dem0n's done this before.

None.

The sword and the faith

I definitely like the maps concept and elements but I'm just not sure about some of the execution at this point. We'll see how it goes.

Sorry for the long delay on the update. Ex is helping me do the ramps in the middle, so we'll see how it looks after he's done. ^^

The sword and the faith

Yeah I've been kind of busy, I'll get to it when I can.

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.

NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

not the map, the editor

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

Symmetry shouted: NudeRaider Is EUD editor capable of writing shit onto the player's harddrive? That seems like it would be dangerous
yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier
