This is in the beta stage, everything works except for the item shop, and I will probably get it past beta after playing it more & getting the balancing done.

There are 9 heroes, 5 different heroes (0 - 5 spell levels), 50 lv's (25 attk 25 arm) based on experience points, 1-6 footmen lv's,

mana fountain @ center of map, item shops that don't work for now, spells are cast from starport

spells have recharge timers so you can't spam and rig them, max # of footmen per plyr is 48.

the spells are preset for each hero, and you can find them out in the mission briefing once you choose your hero. only 1 plyr per type of hero.

there are treasure, toy, and bento boxes @ center of map that you can kill for experience & $$, this is to attract plyrs to middle & get the game moving on @ beginning of the game

items & footmen upgrades cost in the 100s, hero upgrades cost in the 1000s. When it's time for you to upgrade your hero (i.e. u level up), your item money from your kills goes away, and youre left with 1000, 1500, 2000, etc. $$$$ and you must use it to upgrade your hero. after you upgrade ur hero and your money goes back down to near 0, your item money comes back, only to go away when its time to upgrade your hero again.

hero upgrade alternates between attak and defense, since each goes up by 1000, and ur only allowed +500 upgrade money per level up.

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.

NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

not the map, the editor

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

Symmetry shouted: NudeRaider Is EUD editor capable of writing shit onto the player's harddrive? That seems like it would be dangerous
yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier
