"There is no 9/11 conspiracy you morons"

The last comic in that page helps me sleep at night when I think it was a planned demolition that took out the towers.

You know what helps me sleep? The fact that I know something about structural mechanics as opposed to nothing just like pretty much what most all the people who believe a controlled demolition took place.

Seriously, I don't get why so many people insist on believing that the WTC towers fell due to a collapse when they know absolutely nothing about structural mechanics. The best i've seen is this. But even here a lot of the letters are mostly bs and lack much credibility as they can easily be edited, taken out of context, or have made up information/test data especially when you don't know much about the authors' backgrounds. (And most unfortunately, sites like popular mechanics have already rebuked pretty much all of the arguments presented in these letters).

None.

PyMS and ProTRG developer

I don't think it was a conspiracy, and I have never studied structural mechanics nor engineering, but I still find MA's facts painfully obvious, and correct. Just my opinion.

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.

NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

Symmetry shouted: Ohhh imagine a SC map that could delete itself
not the map, the editor

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

Symmetry shouted: NudeRaider Is EUD editor capable of writing shit onto the player's harddrive? That seems like it would be dangerous
yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier

Symmetry -- NudeRaider
NudeRaider shouted: Symmetry I can't tell if it's relevant. You provided literally no context so I was providing an equally generic answer.
