New laptop had it's first blue screen

My 3 month old laptop had it's first blue screen today. I closed all my windows, and closed the lid, when i came back 2 hours later it opened in a blue screen dumping the physical memory. Anything I should do? Should I be worried? It told me I recovered from a serious system failure, and asked if I wanted to check for a solution, but after a few minutes of searching, the window just closed... :???: Just wondering if there's some sort of procedure I should follow or something for a blue screen.

Thanks for the help!

Its nothing really if its just once, unless its occurring frequently.

in all my time using a computer, i've never once seen a blue screen, I often wonder what the hell you guys are doing with your computers, browsers and the likings to ruin them or get this many errors all the time :P!

We do a little trolling

For me, when I got my blue screens it was because Vista needed a critical update. Since I got that update I haven't had anymore issues. What OS is on your laptop? And did you get anymore blue screens within then and now? Because I got like 3 in quick succession when it happened to me.

My Projects:

Impossible Ultraviolet | Impossible UV 2 | Impossible UV 3
Mercenaries 2020 | Mercenaries III
Squad Defense

Legacy Projects (No guarantee of functionality in modern SC):

Pixel Adventure 2 | Space Snipers | Control the Ball

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.

NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

not the map, the editor

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier
