Look for Logitec 5.1 or 7.1 speakers.

They work like their suppose to, deliver sound.

I, myself, also have their 5.1 surround sound for my desktop,tv, and 360.

None.

Relatively ancient and inactive

I find myself wondering, why get new speakers? I have small, 3-year-old ones that came with my brothers' computer purchase, and I don't see any reason to change. What exactly makes some better then others?

Configuration. 2.1 speakers are fine for general use, but I am an audiophile and I also want surround for when I watch movies. This means I need a 5.1 or 7.1 set.

Don't use a computer, then. Get an A/V reciever and some real speakers.

meme

I'm actually using one of these as a speaker thanks to the handy "tape in" coaxial cable input. I got for around $100, which is the price range you mentioned. I'm fairly certain it doesn't do surround sound. It does, however, play C in the first octave (C1), which most speakers would miss (or be blown out on). If you crank up the volume past the second notch on the master volume slider though, it's just as good as surround sound though. ;)

Oddly enough, that's what I use when I need Sofia to be more noisy...
Not exactly Moose's amp but I use my fender jazzmaster.

The desktop, though, does have a set of speakers that are most likely really old I remember the price was like USD $5. They work well.

fuck you all

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.

NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier
