Today I made my first jump. The height was 700-800 meters. I was EXTREMELY IMPRESSED. I'll surely do it again ASAP. Believe it or not, I felt no fear when jumping out of the plane, mostly because I already have the 'trust for the equipment' feeling from other extreem sthings I did. What impressed me the most was the feeling of falling (shame it was so short - only about 3 or 4 seconds) and how your body gets thrown into the air current.

Did any of you guys try this awesomeness? If not, but you're thinking about it, don't hesitate and DO IT. It's totally worth it.

Hang gliding is different, but its as close as I've come.
I've been wanting to parachute for years now.

I'd give a lot to try it out. ^^
Were you the one in control, or was it the instructor/pilot (thus making you the passenger)?

Aw, I really want to try parachuting. I would give plenty to give it a go.

So, was there a huge adrenaline rush when you landed?

There was some adrenaline, but not much. Nothing compared to what I get from snowboarding, for example.

I just felt huge sattisfaction from successfully completing the jump.

Gliding by yourself is the only way to go.

My county(Los Angeles), is littered with theme parks(Magic Mountain, Knots, etc.), but they cease to give me adrenaline rushes. :(

That sounds awesome. I've always wanted to do it, I've thought about doing it, and I'm sure I will soon. I just can't decide if I want to make it a date event.

A date event? As in having a set date for the jump? You obviously have to contact the manager (or who is registring the participants) and register, because the weather conditions are not always suitable. I and my friend had to get up at 6:00 AM three Saturdays in a row to get it right.

ManCubuS -- Seems like something's broken regarding the site then. Sadge...

Oh_Man -- have i ever told u guys my SC2 pro-gamer story

Ultraviolet -- That's strange, it looks like you targeted the base image file (sometimes people make the mistake of just using the imgur page link which doesn't work for embedding) but it still didn't work it sounds like.

ManCubuS -- I should try a workaround, thanks! Sadly imgur is blocked in my country for some unknown reason.
[2026-7-26. : 3:05 pm]
NudeRaider -- I think SEN has trouble with https or hotlinking is forbidden. It certainly is nothing about the size, it just fails to get any size. You can get it working if you use imgur and include the actual image link for the img tag. Like this: [img=https://i.imgur.com/ddYqXZa.jpeg]

ManCubuS -- Hey fellas! Anyone knows why when I try to upload an image it says "failed to get image size"? I even tried making it so small. Imgur isn't working here and I tried postimg no luck.
