Just downloaded Chrome earlier, and I must say I like it.

I'm sure the missing middle mouse button click is a beta quirk, and I haven't noticed anything else I don't like besides that.

It has a leet new tab page, as well as, of course, really nice load speeds.

Reminds me of this dell fiasco.

Using chrome on XP right now, and it is much, much faster than Firefox. True, the multiprocessing eats more RAM (60M/2048M with just one tab), but I like it so far. I never used many browser features, so it's nice. The only thing I miss from Firefox is being able to manage cookie setting on a case-by-case basis.

I've tried it. It's very nice with good concepts on the way. I think I'll wait until they smoothen out everything before actually using it all the time.

I like it, it's way faster, by far. But I do not think it's ready for competing with FF in terms of customization.

Chrome has been remarkably slow for me whenever caching a page.

Chrome uses webkit, so it will display/resample resized images and will look better, but load slower (resulting in terrible animated gif playback.)

I also think it's slower in most of the speed tests when compared to opera/firefox, but REALLY people, speed doesn't matter unless you're ray tracing. 300 ms is no time at all when loading a web page.

It's way faster. 1 Downside, and 2 Questions.

Can give it StumbleUpon? Can I give it Ad Block Plus?

Watching videos at current.com(Romney RNC address) with it sucks. Skipped so much I had to make sure my modem had a cable jack in it and not a phone line. I wonder if the laggy video playback is just me though.

It doesn't save history, cookies, passwords, any sort of information.

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.

NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier
