I thank stumble for this.

This is by no means the best one.

Those tests were just too much win.

I got my first and only D this last semester. I overloaded myself with classwork, trying to start a production company, running 2 student organizations, extracurricular activities, plus being a dad. As a result, my grades suffered, and I got a D in my politics class. For the final paper, I was supposed to learn how to use statistical analysis software to compare voting trends in the southern states. I put off learning it and paid dearly. I couldn't figure out how to use it in time to write the paper. I did turn in a paper, so that I wouldn't get an incomplete, but it simply said "In the presidential election of 2004, George Bush defeated John Kerry because Kerry didn't remember Poland."

I felt proud, in a way. I wonder if my professor got the joke.

This one just doesn't seem funny because in some ways it is the correct answer

The teacher is suppose to say Solve for x

You know how many classes have it where they drop your lowest test score/paper/whatever? I these people probably had grades good enough where they could blow off one of their grades or whatever :P
or, they were just really really noob like devilesk (LOL jk jk)

And the red set of concentric circles is not a zero; the grader was trying to give the elephant a donut :)

Well, do notice that some of them like the first one actually have all the correct answers. Actually the grammar and spelling mistakes in the first test's questions make ME lose faith in humanity :P

This one is old... I've seen before. >.> It's the kind of answer my friends and I would give. The open-ended, non-specific questions are the best like "What do you think?" or "What is your opinion?" Even if they are slightly more specific than that, there is still a way around the implied meaning.

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.
[2026-7-16. : 6:26 am]
NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

not the map, the editor

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

Symmetry shouted: NudeRaider Is EUD editor capable of writing shit onto the player's harddrive? That seems like it would be dangerous
yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.
[2026-7-15. : 4:10 am]
Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier
