Did you take those concepts from jungle, from some one else, or just stumble across them?

None.

Their pretty basic, could have come from out of no where, although I'm sure that jungle was the first they came from.

Just as the grass in jungle connects many terrain layers, the crushed rock in twilight connects almost all the terrain layers. :) So yes my mind was still set on jungle mode when I was doing some of this stuff :P But I'm starting to understand how twilight all comes together now :D

K here's the first thing I could really come up with and as you can see it's got problems... But not all of it is trash cause I made a few discrete discoveries ^^

Twilight:

This is more of a progress marker, not a "rate me" or "tell me what to do" pic :)
That's what I like the best from your work

Dark the dock is what i think is by far the best. However the high to low does make the terrian much better but if some one ever fights on it, it will be very wierd for the high person has an atavantage. Jello i like the new one you posted its simple and easy to look at. Not sure were you would use it but nj

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.

NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

not the map, the editor

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

Symmetry shouted: NudeRaider Is EUD editor capable of writing shit onto the player's harddrive? That seems like it would be dangerous
yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier
