Wow, I wonder if you can get it to play higher quality music.

Hehehe... I've got to finish making a musical instrument by tomorrow. I should have built one of those :P

All you need is a higher frequency and/or variable amplitude coil.

Relatively ancient and inactive

I didn't think you can play anything different than a constant frequency (though I know nothing of Tesla Coils). Definitely not a wasted few minutes :P.

?????

lol Our future weapons of today!
The combination of the ipod and a weapon!
Listen to any music you want and kill at the same time! Ignore those awful load sounds of war and listen to the Beach Boys Greatest hits! xD

I can imagine that...

We had one of those last year in physics. Of course it was a crapload weaker, but it still packed a freaking punch when you get zapped. If our teacher held a metal ball on a stick against it, you can put your hand on it, and your hair would be sky high. If you had any strings on your shorts, they'd be floating too. It was quite hilarious. We had twenty people connected to the coil, and the last person in the line who was all the way out in the hall decided to be a prick and tap the lockers, which gave us all a major volts. A fun thing the person out in the hall can do is touch random people that walk by in the hall and give them a little buzz. Good times..

edit: actually, I'm thinking about a static electric producing coil, the ones here are current electricity. The current ones are the deadly ones :P

I wonder if you could hook up a guitar to a Tesla Coil and use it as an amp?

Yes, you could. At least, with this one.

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.

NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

not the map, the editor

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

Symmetry shouted: NudeRaider Is EUD editor capable of writing shit onto the player's harddrive? That seems like it would be dangerous
yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier
