ᴄʜᴇᴇsᴇ ɪᴛ!

I don't recall ever seeing a water to low cliff, but what's remarkable is that this is perfectly blended IMO, and it has a strange height change (one cliff is larger than the other).

The coolest part was I did this in 4 clicks, entirely by accident. Go me SCMDraft!

That.. Is REALLY COOL!!!!!

Man I want to make something like that.. Whats good is the fact that using this you could make underwater bases look underwater without pylon sprites.. This could inspire some great maps!

Good job!

I do stuff and thingies... Try widening and reducing the number of small nooks and crannies to correct the problem.

can you explain your 4 clicks? I would like to know how you did that exactly? :D
it's wonderful btw

Ah, it looks cool, and it makes sense that they blend, as those underwater cliffs are the same as dry ones, so taking the pieces from the dry cliff that match up with the underwater cliff should blend perfectly, nice find :P

well I havn't seen this before, although it reminds me of jaboks raised canals, I forgot what his backside looked like but this combined with his blends could probably work perfect!

actually never mind I forgot the raised canals had bridge tiles... err maybe make another type of raised water blend?

that takes either some mad luck or some dumb skill. Besides the water part i like what you have above it. the ground below water is what it seems like

Not really, it makes perfect sense why they would match up perfectly, he just managed to get lucky enough to notice it.

A fine stroke of luck

right under our noses as we've done regular dirt cliffs to regular dirt and high dirt beaches

I'm def. gonna use this sometime

Thank you verrrr much

. . . what is with all the smileys? Mineral gaining ploy? Anyway, I see how that blended. Awesome find, even if it's pure luck.

(actually it was just random lol. i don't even know we get minerals...)

i experimented a little with this and its easy to replicate the sides. so the right side doesn't have to be mis-leveled like that
its probably obvious but i just thought i'd point it out

ᴄʜᴇᴇsᴇ ɪᴛ!

For those wondering, I was trying to test out something that I was posting in this thread, and started out with pure water terrain. Then, I put down some high ruins ISOM. After that, I copied a section of it, and pasted that a bunch of times, with the last one being off center a lil bit, then put down mud ISOM. Somehow, this came up, and looked REALLY cool.

omg, this blend reminds me of the Netherlands (living below the sea level).
I created a double cliff part to the water trying to get the same results :P

Aha.. It works EXCEPT you cant do the back of it without it looking horribly blocky xD

What a shame.

Well later on i'll test out the back part and i'll try to come up with some decent blends

^^ I just noticed whats so cool about it. I was just looking at it in another perspective....really cool now :D

In what perspective are you looking at it? I only see it one way, but maybe that's just because I'm used to looking at terrain this way.

It's true, not all of them work on the back, but some work adequately enough.

I think the second one on the first row, the second one in the second row, the first and fourth ones in the third row, and the one in the fourth row are the best. Some of the others, such as the first one in the second row, have easy fixes to make it look better.
