Many map making and modding tools are being developed by several members of this comunity ATM. However their topics are scattered around the forums and keep being moved because there's not a definitely place for them. I think a "Software Development" forum should be added under the "Staredit General" section to cover this need.
Agreed. I see it, and its not right. Well, Maybe a separate one for modding Tools under the modding part, and a mapping tool development under SC Map making.

You're right that there's not a definite place for them, but a whole forum seems excessive. Maybe a StarCraft Miscellaneous section (like Doodle said, but I think Miscellaneous would be better than General)

Yes, I agree we are missing a spot for Starcraft misc. type stuff. All misc. stuff has to go to Null, so we really do need more forums or something.

Agreed. This would help developers get recognition more easily and make the forum easier to navigate.
Perhaps just a programming forum? That might keep all the programming questions out of the Tech forums.
