FooFighters, Runescape is its own unique game, it was made with java, and for being made using java it is AMAZING, but if your a gamer and just play games and judge them by what they look like then you would think runescape is crap. personally i dont like runescape but its amazing someone actually made a game like that with java.

oh and you will be able to play when the open beta is released which shouldnt be to much longer as long as no more bugs/exploits are found that could cause problems later.

Braydo, ok, but i don't see the big deal with it being amazing with Java, i'm saying it is crap because of the money you have to pay to become a member, Free people get a small amount of stuff, and never get any more quests! and why can't the Free people just get pets? it's not fair to us Free people

Because the developers want to give extra to the people who pay. If you can get a great experience without paying then why would you pay? They try and give you a good experience, but one that could be a lot better if you just put some money down a month. They want to make money. That's the idea. Not to provide a free money losing game for people to play.

It's the same with every game that's free to play and where you can then buy a lot of stuff. Take Maplestory for example. If you spend money you can do so much more.
