My Mouse is Broken

So my dad dropped my Logitech G5 mouse, and now the middle scroll button acts as if it's stuck in the down position. I can get it to 'click' (register that it's been pressed) if I press it hard enough or in the right way, but it doesn't click. That's not my main problem though. Randomly, it'll act as if it IS pressed down, and int wont let me click or do anything until I get it not pressed down, which equates to around 5-10 seconds of jiggling. Is there a way to get it unstuck? I tried pulling on it, and pushing on it from the bottom. There are no screws or anything, so I can't really take it apart. Any help would be appreciated.

Kick your dad's ass until he fixes it, since he broke it.

Or send it to a repair shop/buy a new one/etc

Haha, that's probably what I'll do. Guilt him into getting me a new one.

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.

NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

not the map, the editor

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier
