Use ITAS 2.1 if you want to avoid problems with the limit expander

http://www.campaigncreations.org/forum/index.php?topic=327.0

2.2 uses the limit expander

(Yes I know that link calls it 0.2 but FUCK trust in my skewed judgement) http://www.campaigncreations.org/forum/index.php?topic=517.0
Ok, thanks for the links :) Ill be sure ITAS is played, or else people die.

As for the date of it:
I think most of us can make it on the 21st. Correct?

If you wait until late june I MIGHT, and I repeat MIGHT have something else for you to play around with.

I can also put MFTGATRL on the FTP if you want.

Show them your butt, and when you do, slap it so it creates a sound akin to a chorus of screaming spider monkeys flogging a chime with cacti. Only then can you find your destiny at the tip of the shaft.

ok here is MFTGATRL as version "Re-Release 1.0"

I don't promise it being balanced or really ready for public action again but it's still a massive TC compared to most other TC's out there so have at thee from 4-5 years ago

www.doack.campaigncreations.org/MFTGATRL_RR10.exe

Of course, MFTGATRL is for 1.10.

And this is not using the limit expander (Be warned - mass Spam frigates can and will overlord the sprite engine and potentially crash starcraft, we've done it before)

edit - It does appear the AI really likes to softlock in this mod.

Im going to try and compile a nice 6-8p map pack by the time this starts. I want at least 10 maps, maybe 20.

I'm always on the hunt for nice 8player maps. So, quite looking forward to it. :)

I just ran into a filesize limit in icecc.

My plans to having something for june are now on hold.

I never knew there was such a thing as a filesize limit in Icecc... Maybe try a newer version? Either that or cut down on the Imgol's :P

I'm not going to cut down the 350kb Eclipse, thank you very much. There wouldn't be much left.

I was close to the limit, anyway.

Your script could easily be optimized.

By optimized i mean using jumps more often to recreate the same effect, not removing any animations.

lol. That won't optimize it, espicially since the spell he's coding takes up the whole screen.

That doesn't solve the problem that you can't put it in there in the first place, yes? Same with the actual unit scripts.

The sword and the faith

Ordered my motherboard today. I should be set for next week unless any unforseen problems arise. From when its up till SMMM ill probably be working on Protocraft v3.

I need to finish the new race ive been working on and maybe add a third to make it a full medium modification. I also had some other ideas i might be able to work in to make it TC worthy but i doubt im going to put that much time into it.

At last check, all req strings and graft problems from v2 were taken care of. Right now im just having an iscript/.lo problem which i think i might have a solution for.

The sword and the faith

Two 8ps currently in-progress by myself:
Deja Entendu

Starcraft (To be renamed. :X )

Also the amazing map making duo, Testbug and Crackling have said they will make us an 8p. For anyone who played (7)Seven Sins on earlier mod nights, that was Testbug's handywork. Both of them have won Map Of The Month contests on BWMN. Expect epicness.

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.
[2026-7-16. : 6:26 am]
NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier
