http://www.blizzard.com/store

Its a steam like service that allows you to buy games online and download them to play. Register a free account for a chance to be included in upcoming beta releases, possibly sc2

What the hell I keep entering the image verification but it doesn't work.

Wow, for some reason it worked when I tried registering in IE, but not in Firefox. :dontgetit:

How long does it take to get my stupid little confirmation e-mail?

tits

May 5 2008, 3:40 am -BW-Map_God Post #14

I got my confirmation email almost instantly, and I registered using mozilla firefox, you just have to be able to read the letters for the confirmation, they are readable just written so a bot can't read them. At the same time though some letters are quite mis-readable.

Wow. BeDazed should already have a copy of the Korean beta. My friend does. He went to Korea August 2007, picked it up and showed me. I was scared as hell. But there weren't alot of features on that copy. So I guess you could say it was an alpha or every early beta.

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.

NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

Symmetry shouted: Ohhh imagine a SC map that could delete itself
not the map, the editor

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

Symmetry shouted: NudeRaider Is EUD editor capable of writing shit onto the player's harddrive? That seems like it would be dangerous
yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier
