Basically it uses online content delivery, so if your starcraft CDs are beyond use it'd be a good idea to give this a try.

It's also worth noting that you can register your CD key on there so you can verify you own a game, lets say like starcraft, and download it from there whenever you wish. So sign up and register your cd keys.

Its definitely a step in the right direction for blizzard.

So this means if your CD is a piece of shi-, you can send in your CD Key online and they give you another, via internet? I don't really see the purpose of this, with the new patch, if done correctly, you don't need the CD to play the game. :D

That only works if you never intend to reinstall the game ever again.

Click account once you are logged in, then click games. After you do that the validation email is sent out.

Yea I clicked all the different send validation email links and I still haven't recieved one. Only been what, 12 hours though? Hopefully Blizz will fix this quick.
