Woah

I know for a fact that they're doing Diablo 3. So Diablo.

A friend is working on the cinematics for Wrath of the Lich King, and mentioned Diablo 3.

Woah

How would you like me to prove it to you?

You could theoretically just wait and see that I'm right. That works, too, I suppose.

Relatively ancient and inactive

Flagship Studies created Diablo when they were a part of Blizzard, but since they were a part of Blizzard on creation, I think Blizzard still owns the franchise.

Which is why they created Hellgate: London as the spiritual successor.

It's official, Diablo III is NOT an MMORPG game.

Thigh high affectionado

The TOP SECRET jobs at blizzards site still exist. And D3 jobs are there so.

Sure I didn't pop off on SCBW like I wanted to, but I won VRChat. Map maker for life.

Just Here For The Pie

If there is going to be a StarCraft Universe MMO, I say...

FOR THE SWARM!!!!

We'll be on the constant hunt for more minerals because WE REQUIRE MORE MINERALS!
All you Protoss will be like, "We must construct additional pylons!", but we'll come in and be all like, "RR-RAHHHH!!! RAWRZ!!! PWNED!!!" Then BAM- we took out your pylons and you'll all be like, "WE MUST CONSTRUCT ADDITIONAL PYLONS!" but it's too late! We'll be owning you toss in no time with our mighty fury! (SMACK TALK SMACK TALK SMACK TALK!)

.. Yeah, I'd go with SC now that we know DIII isn't it. They're not going to make another WC one, not a DIIII, so probably SC. Although, it might be a new franchise - also viable.

World of Starcraft had better be an MMOFPSRPG. If it's just like WoW but with Starcraft, I'm going to kick Blizzard's collective ass.

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.
[2026-7-16. : 6:26 am]
NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

not the map, the editor

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

Symmetry shouted: NudeRaider Is EUD editor capable of writing shit onto the player's harddrive? That seems like it would be dangerous
yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier
