The Max Fury (Part I)

This is the first part of a short campaign set in a planet called Vidion. The story begins by stepping into the shoes of the rebel leader Max James, who will lead his group of insurgents against the local government known as "The Republic." After overthrowing the regime, Max will establish a new government under his rule. However, peace will be short-lived, as the greatest conflict Vidion has ever faced will begin shortly after...

This is only the first part, so it consists of just 5 missions. The second and final part will feature between 3 and 4 missions—I haven’t decided yet. Together, it will form a very short campaign, but I hope its quality will make up for it. Play it and share your thoughts with me! :)

The Max Fury (Part II)

After a long time, I’ve decided to resume development on this campaign. Part two will include four maps in total; for now, only one is fully completed, and I’m sharing it here with you…

I gave it a spin last night.

Pro:
-Voice acting is pretty good.
-Well timed 'cutscenes'

Con:
-Difficulty is excessively brutal. Couldn't do mission 3+ without cheating
-Terrain clogging. Have you tried moving tanks/scv/infantry on the left side corridor on mission 3? Mission 4 has many of similar issues on it's high grounds.
-Boring terrain. Some mediocre campaigns have been saved before by "well that combination of doodads + tiling is pretty" or even "cute chokepoint"
-Giant maps are a grind. Worsened by the terrain.
-Mission 5 is just a lagfest after the hordes start spawning. I get you're supposed to die but there are moments where stuff just lags so badly it doesn't fire. I expected an epic last stand where you rack up a giant kill count... This was not it.

Ultraviolet -- I suppose we'll likely never know, but my guess would be that they already saw it operating successfully and there was no monetary incentive to finish the original work. And the dev cycle in old school Blizzard was so hectic, it's possible it just got forgotten about after the original game got released. Plus there's an element of existing MPQ files that were packaged with the original discs becoming outdated if they updated it. And it's not like they remade the original MPQs, they just made new ones for BW specifically

Oh_Man -- so that makes me think maybe the theory they are unfinished is not true and its a deliberate design decision, coz why not finish them wen ur making brood war?

Oh_Man -- the thing is thos buildings are from classic. that means they went ahead and made brood war without ever finishing the 'unfinished' buildings

Ultraviolet -- Yeah he's talked about a lot of that stuff in his casts before. It seems plausible. Especially knowing how Blizzard of yesteryear operated.

NudeRaider -- to clarify: couldn't recall the behavior for every single Protoss building but I was aware the disparity exists.

NudeRaider -- Contained nothing new for me. Didn't know all building's behavior, but very much all unit's. Also Terran balance whine - also nothing new

Oh_Man -- makes me wonder if SEN knows anything about the topic
