Random Unit FFA

I've finally finished my level as far as I can see. I don't see any problems anymore with the AI and such. If you see an AI sitting there, its probably due to the fact that it can't do anything. (Firebat when theres no ground, or Valk when theres no air, etc.)
The objective of the map is simple:
When you start, there are 3 beacons near you. One for each race. You also have a Civilian.
Take that Civilian and go on one of the three beacons. Depending on which race's beacon you stepped on, you will get a random unit from that race.
If you look at the center of the map (Or most of the screenshots) you will notice there are a large amount of Observers around.
They have dual purposes. The first is to make sure you know where the action is. The second, is to see cloaked/burrowed units (Only the Lurker can burrow).
Seeing what's going on, find a target, and take it out. Keep doing that, until you die.
When you die, you will recieve a new Civilian to repeat this.
The objective of the map is to get the MOST kills within the time limit.
The counter is at 30 minutes. If you are playing on Fastest, it is about 20 minutes (as is said in all the mission briefing and such)

When you get a Civilian, it is invincible (To prevent cheap kills) and your Observers are invincible as well.
Enjoy!

Note: The following units are NOT in the mission. (You can't get them)
Terran:
Dropship

Zerg:
Overlord
Broodling (Unless you use Spawn Broodling when a Queen, you cannot get it as a random gain when hitting the Zerg Beacon)

Protoss:
Shuttle
Observer (You start with these, but you do not get more, and cannot get one from randomness)

Hangars for units are always at maximum. (Carriers always have max Interceptors, Reavers always have max Scarabs).
I was originally going to make that up to the player, but the computer was stupid with its units. It would run around with Reavers with no scarabs or Carriers with no interceptors.

I only have the 2 human player Map here. I haven't edited it for 4, 6 or 8 human players yet, but it's not that hard to do. If anyone wants the map with more human players, feel free to ask.

Good Luck, and Enjoy!

I didn't know there was a map already like this =(
All I knew was that my brother had made it back before I had internet, and I really liked it and wanted to remake it.

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.

NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

not the map, the editor

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

Symmetry shouted: NudeRaider Is EUD editor capable of writing shit onto the player's harddrive? That seems like it would be dangerous
yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier
