To be honest guys the game isnt that bad, although it is "kid friendly" it can also be really challenging.

ADDITION: This is actually a very nicely done game, perhaps if I can persuade the owners of the game to drop the farming rule I will devote more of my time to the game

I am finnaly finding Sulphur to come in handy, Sulphur+Wine=OWNAGE. The wine can support the growth of your cities, which will in turn increase your income/resource production rates. The Sulphur can be used to crank out units at speeds unmatched. My only problem is finding the crystal for my academy.
