As this map is still in beta stages, you'll find some bugs. Disregard them until the map is put into full swing.

Well, here's a map. I came back just to do a couple maps and finish up a few things... mainly because I found my old harddrive and found out hot to fix it, and I got back a whole database of content, some of which is including my old concept maps.

Exiled 2: The Punished
Specifications:
  • Size: 128x128
  • Players: 1-4
  • Genre: Dodge / Snipe Hybrid
  • Size: ~2.79 mbs
Gameplay:
  • You've committed horrible crimes. Your punishment? Exile.
  • Exile is known by the locals as a process in which they get entertained, some scientific research done, and... whatever. You get the point.
  • You're dropped in a canyon with nothing but a rifle and a pouch of bullets.
  • Worms will crawl down into the canyon for lunch-time.
  • Impress those who watch you by killing the worms with style, and you'll be granted the wish of bringing other criminals down with you.
Screenshots:

This is the pit. Very nice pit, in my mind. Super pits! [But not super arm-pits.]

These are mantis men worms! Mantis men!

Features and Cool Shit:
  • Worms and Mantis Men! [Now, with REAL electrolytes!]1
  • Store and Shit in Top Right-Hand Corner, Ever-so-carefully placed. NEW Feature! Purchasing units now results in ACTUALLY purchasing the unit! YES!2
  • Stolen Sounds from your favorite popular video games from the 90s, including Portal 2, Mortal Kombat, and Starcraft: Broodwar!3
  • A Completely Original, Unique, and Never-done-before remake!4
  • Never-Seen-Before Trigger Constructs, based upon Maps of old age!5
  • Example of the most Down-n-Dirty way to make a [mostly] complete map! The lazy way!6

*Note*
1 Doesn't actually contain Electrolytes.
2 Past results of success are never indicative of success regarding future use.
3 Not all games are from the 90s. Not all sounds are from these games. But they rule anyway.
4 May have been done once. Or 3 times. On a concept map. Something like that.
5 Nobody cares about chicken defense.
6 Actually... this one's pretty damn true. May contain extra cholesterol.

Woops, attaching file. Hold on.

Replaced the glitched file. Sorry for uploading the old one!

NudeRaider -- but it would explain why that bot needs cheats to win

Oh_Man shouted: No training is very computational expensivr it doesnt train in real time tht culd actually be used against it
oh but alphastar training was *very* cpu intensive.

Oh_Man shouted: Hope that makes sense. Also artosiscast just dropped a 1 hour vid he analayses a bunch of its games. The TLDR is the maphack is responsible for a large percentage of its wins because its just hard countering zerg rushes
People keep mentioning it's a bot using reinforced self-learning (or w/e the correct term is) but I wonder, does it still actively learn now that it is deployed? How does that work? Or was it trained on like 100k games playing against itself and now training is finished and its capabilties are now static?

NimoStar -- ban the bot :))
[05:17 am]
Oh_Man -- Like it doesnt even bother to build a comsat unless it sees a lurker or dt, etc

[05:14 am]
Oh_Man -- It's EMULATING the behaviour of a control group select and move without having the actual functionality to do that
[05:13 am]
Oh_Man -- Vrael
Vrael shouted: yeah but it looks like pluto's eAPM is still 6000 based on issuing all those orders
k the APM is inflated because it issues 12 identical orders individually. Its not 12 unique orders
