You can try http://www.staredit.net/topic/10081/ for compression topped with http://www.staredit.net/topic/15818/ for more compression. Compression removes a lot of information that the editors need but SC doesn't, and as a result, it is reasonably hard to undo; it serves as an excellent protection as a side effect.
Its really important guys that you go buy some potions to help you early game. Also, read my advice I wrote on the download page. Its a tough game, and may take you a few tries to win it.
Okay I tried using Tinymap2 and it keeps glitching up on me when trying to save my map.. not sure what other options I have?
If you have any trouble with TinyMap2 you can always post it in the thread or PM me about it (what Windows version, what goes wrong, and maybe even the map itself). If I can fix TM2 for you then hopefully I can fix it for other people who have the same issue in the future as well.

Really sorry about the glitches guys, I saw the replay and how frustrating it was for you. As far as I can see, they're the only glitches so far. I'll make sure that in the next version, the villager goes straight to his destination after certain time period. Also, I'll add in a walkthrough guide that I've been meaning to do, so nobody gets stuck. I'll submit next version in next 24 hours.
On our next playthrough Fast Travel stopped working after the first time cast for each of us. The cooldown went to 0 and stayed there.
We also missed the text for the quest where you get the four books, so we're lost there. A quest journal that tells you the current quest would be very convenient.
Okay, the Fast Travel only works in certain places. If you're in a cave, dungeon, or Oblivion Plane, it won't work.
As for the quest confusion, originally I had a quest journal on the menu, but unfortunately I ran out of strings so I had to remove it. However, I did add a Walkthrough for your convenience. Click here for Walkthrough. You should try the new version, I fixed the glitches and made some other improvements. Blood Lust now works.
Oh and just a tip, not sure if you've noticed, but in certain places on the map you'll see one of these...
They give you +20 armor for 30 seconds. There's one in the mountains where I noticed you like to level up.
Well, play again and let me know how you go. Post the replay if you can.
Yoon, Lethal_Illusion and I played through the map again and this time beat the whole thing. This was a week or two ago, but I thought I should leave some feedback.
I was a big fan of the "skill" system. I felt it added a lot to the map to be able to pick some neat little effects to augment your playstyle. I was pretty impressed with the item system as well. Unfortunately, the way the game went, we all just focused luck and gold-find skills and then farmed Dragoons. Then when we had enough gold we just bought the best items and all the upgrades and blew through the plot. The game was a cinch after that, the only difficult part was the very beginning.
Perhaps it was just a failure on our part to play the map in the right or most engaging way, but I only ever bought the best items. It seemed more prudent to just farm passed the lesser items than to take the time out to go buy them and have to sell later. I personally didn't find the spells terribly useful, but I didn't take the time to try to read all of the descriptions. Yoon and Lethal on the other hand did use them.
Appreciate the feedback. I have to say, I agree with you on everything. After playing the map by myself, I did the same thing, just threw stats on gold, got rich, the rest of the game was easy and unchallenging. Glad you liked the other systems. If anything, I hope to inspire other mappers with new ideas.
