Case 4: Aristocrat is not Vigilante, but he is a town-aligned role.
Then Aristocrat is a poor player.
Why do you automatically exclude that possibility? What has Aristocrat ever done in any game to make his word more trustworthy than mine?
This looks like total bollocks from my point of view because I know what role I have. I could do the same thing you did and post a video of me opening my inbox and going to the role PM, but I'm not a douchebag so I won't do that.
None.
I know what role I have as well. I could do the same thing you did and ragequit in two consecutive games, first by having the host lightning bolt you and second by voting for yourself, but I'm not a douchebag so I won't do that.
Just a passing note: it's funny how three consecutive posts switch the vote from a player to no lynch. Make of it what you will.
I received a PM from Demon asking me to not vote for him. While I was considering his argument, I switched my vote to No Lynch. Then I decided that it would be in the town's best interest (for reasons stated above) to lynch Demon.
Sorry, Demon, nothing personal. I don't exactly trust Aristocrat either, but this way we get some information about him.
Why not wait for the next day, and analyze the post for clues related to Dem0n/Aristo? How good of a strategy would that be?<
If we don't find something then, I would vote to lynch dem0n I guess.

I just don't like the idea of taking the risk to lose a town-allly to know about the role of another player.
None.
Since when has Dem0n worked for the benefit of the town? All he does is cry all day in hopes of self-preservation, and when he dies he throws a tantrum and breaks every single mafia rule. Even if he was town (which is not possible), he wouldn't be a reliable asset people can depend on.
None.
Since when have you? At least I
try to uncover mafia members, instead of just targeting the same exact people in every single game, regardless of what sort of behavior they're exhibiting.
Even if he was town (which is not possible), he wouldn't be a reliable asset people can depend on.
Lol, yeah, because a Vigilante isn't an asset.

You really do suck at this game, don't you?

And you, the guy who has the same hitlist each game, are a reliable asset?

It does make sense, because I am a townie and am working together with other townies to save each other and defeat the Mafia.
You mean working with your friend in the hope of saving him. No, personal attack aside, I simply found it interesting that you two stand up for each other so frequently, emotionally, and in the extreme fashion that you do. Simply put, it fascinates me that your interpersonal bond is so strong you feel the other is incapable of defending himself.
Alternatively, I find it surprising a (normally) level-headed person such as Aristocrat is so set on revenge against Demon (and thus Inferno) simply because of the crusade Demon went on last game to get him lynched. I also find it extremely interesting that Aristocrat would reveal himself at this stage of the game, when he could alternatively simply wait until the night and kill his counterclaim. Assuming of course he's Vigilante or mafia. I'm not sure where he thought he would be able to best two friends who invariably support each other, tipping the scale against himself. You sure do know how to pick your battles, friend.
Finally, and this is not intentionally directed at anyone, I'm surprised at the no lynch. Seriously, this provides no real information, and the mafia can safely hide in the no lynch mass and wait until nighttime. It's been said several different times and by several different people that no lynch only serves the mafia.

No. I dislike my options. I hate voting for no lynch, but I'm considering it.
Conclusion: If Demon dies, we learn something no matter what role he is.
Your strategy is bad and you should feel bad.
9. The lynched alignment(s) and role(s) are NOT revealed upon death.
9. The lynched alignment(s) and role(s) are NOT revealed upon death.
Darn, didn't know that. Has it been like that for the previous mafia games as well?
None.

Might as well. I vote Demon. No hard feelings, I simply hate the idea of no lynch.
Can these posts contain clues as well? Or it's only the ones that are after a Night?
EDIT: Oops. Devlin had already answered that. Sorry.
Answer: Yes.

This game is going to be the longest stalemate ever, huh?

We can't explain the universe, just describe it; and we don't know whether our theories are true, we just know they're not wrong. >Harald Lesch
Most uneventful Mafia ever -.-
You guys are terrible people for letting Dem0n talk his way out of being lynched on absolute horseshit arguments. "Oh the vig counterclaimed he must be a scientist, let's lynch him instead."
WTF?
None.
Thank you for allowing the town's only killing power to actually stay alive past the first day. Perhaps the town's intelligence has stopped its steep decline.
9. The lynched alignment(s) and role(s) are NOT revealed upon death.
Oh I didn't notice that buried in the OP. That would have been nice to know earlier...
Win by luck, lose by skill.
So, uh, Scientist, care to enlighten us as to which of the two is actually a townie?
None.
