Sure I didn't pop off on SCBW like I wanted to, but I won VRChat. Map maker for life.

Ok I got it and played with 2 other mates for like 5 hours. Not much to do in the game it seems the whole point of things is to place grinders... protect them from insects and stuff, then get the minerals from them to spend on weapons and armour which you use to kill bugs even easier so you can mine more minerals to get more armour to... well, you get the idea.
PvP was alright.
Basically my whole game experience was just 'meh'. Don't think I'll be buying. Much more excited about Borderlands 2 than this.
I usually cringe on FPS games, but this is starting to sound good. And for Extra Credits to do two and more to come videos on just this one game is saying something. Now I am just waiting for my beta invite. *sigh*
I got my beta invite a week ago but i haven't gotten the game to work yet... I would open the launcher and press launch and BAM, nothing happens. currently talking to support about it but they got nothing so far. I know its a long shot but has anyone had similar issues here?

Everything they are talking about in terms of Staged Content and Player Driven content, that they call "New Ground," has been done in Tabula Rasa. Except that game flopped really quickly. Then again, Tabula Rasa was one of the most expensive-to-play MMOs ever made, so we will see how it works in a free-to-play medium that is much more focused on missions rather than enemies, like Tabula Rasa was.

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.

NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.
Symmetry shouted: Ohhh imagine a SC map that could delete itself
not the map, the editor

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

Symmetry shouted: NudeRaider Is EUD editor capable of writing shit onto the player's harddrive? That seems like it would be dangerous
yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier
