Just here for the pie

R.I.P. Dem0nS1ayer
(January 1994 - March 2012)

Dem0nS1ayer's unfortunate last words

Dem0nS1ayer, 18, masturbation world record breaker and lonely lad, has died. Generally recognized as SEN's only source of shoutbox lulz, Dem0nS1ayer's passing may sound the death knell for this StarCraft community. Lost forever in his bounty for a young maiden, the depth and breadth that he describes her could, as he was apt to say, "fill several books". He was not exaggerating. Though he did not achieve his goal of not being a socially awkward dick, let us not forget that he died at the tender young age of 18, never to fulfill his dreams.

I'm aware he's not dead, obviously. This is a joke because TiKels said this.

>be faceless void >mfw I have no face

May he rest in peace.

Red classic.

gg hf Dem0ns1ayer. May you continue to recount countless intriguing but ignored tales of pursuing maidens (maybe) in afterlife.

An artist's depiction of an Extended Unit Death

If only he had gone to the doctor for that neck-brace...

I'm going to pick up mapmaking again and dedicate the map to Demon.

Quote from Voltaire
He was a great patriot, a humanitarian, a loyal friend - provided, of course, that he really is dead.

WHYYYYYYYU *sobs* :-(

I don't know what to think. I don't know who to love. I don't know how to LIVE! I know we were mean to him sometimes, but for God's sake! Goodbye...

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.

NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

not the map, the editor

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

Symmetry shouted: NudeRaider Is EUD editor capable of writing shit onto the player's harddrive? That seems like it would be dangerous
yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier
