I don't think you get infected from an unrelated glass cut on your hand.

Just wanted to rule out that possibility, though. I don't know the nature of the zombie infection, for one.

From my collective knowledge about zombie infection...

Any contact with a zombie via their bodily fluids on any open wound, scrape, under your skin, or otherwise (your eyes, open mouth, urethra, etc) will cause you to become infected 100%. If you are bit, infection is 100%. Spit/saliva outside of the zombie may hold the virus since this is just incredibly infectious. If you are scraped or scratched by a zombie then it is depending on if they had their own live infectious cells present on their hands (open wounds on their own hands, blood, druel, etc).

Basically don't get zombie blood/fluids where it could enter your body.

Infection rate depends on the multiplication of the virus cells in your body and where the contact point was at/ and the amount of fluid on the surface area of the wound.

Yes, I should check my urethra too.

Well, if Az decides the mirror shard cuts got flecks of zombie blood in them before I could do anything about it, I guess it's Thriller Night for me. No sense worrying about it.

Wait, if I win, do I come back to life and receive that "something to be used within the game world"?

Naw bro. In Dead Frontier all players are immune supermutants. And that's not a joke about how players can easily recover from injuries, that's part of the plot :P

I remember playing DF when it was a beta in 2008...

DF goes off a variation of the "rage virus" from 28 Weeks/days later. Makes infected extremely aggressive toward non infected, improved physical senses, can't recall past lives and emotions and are more inclined to simply feed.

In DF they get more improved physically (to explain the increase of difficulty when moving further east, encountering "red" infected).

And of course first aid kits, steri strips, and morphine for an in game health system...

Some :argue: leading to :bash: but then :surrender: with a little bit of :inlove: thrown in with some :teach: but ultimately one :shifty: ending with some :rip: although maybe :flowers: as well if you are lucky. But :awesome: all over.

What would really spice this game up is if every turn pm had a character limit.

They do. It's 22000 characters.

Well the thing is I'm unable to use a computer on Sundays and I have school today. Hopefully I'll be able to get them in by the next hour.

Also poison, if you are facing me, no hard feelings :awesome:

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.

NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

Symmetry shouted: NudeRaider Is EUD editor capable of writing shit onto the player's harddrive? That seems like it would be dangerous
yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier
