Or we could just be obstinate. I never said killing them was justified. The most powerful symbol of your favorite movement is exposed as a fraud and you're response is to throw up straw men instead of admitting that your cries of police brutality are uncalled for.

Or just throw up some more bullshit and keep being retarded.

This is a good thread.

I wish I was as masterful a puppeteer as the guy leading the protest in that video.

Yeah, it was more similar to the slippery slope fallacy than anything else.

Semantics aside, however, I'm sure we can all agree the police should not be able to threaten and follow through with something that is beyond their jurisdiction. The argument ducky is making is that the actions taken were within the police's jurisdiction and was the correct course of action for the people who were violating the law. Is the discrepancy here the opinion that this was not the correct course of action? What alternative should have been taken, given the circumstances?

Me: Police were justified in pepper spraying the protesters because they were in violation of the law
You: So you think it's ok to kill tem all

Right. Not a straw man. I see you picked the obstinate path.

After watching the video, I do stand corrected.

The protesters were behaving rather unreasonably. Shame.

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.

NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

not the map, the editor

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier

NudeRaider shouted: Symmetry I can't tell if it's relevant. You provided literally no context so I was providing an equally generic answer.
