My girlfriend started working in a swanky Italian coffee house/deli type establishment. Goddamn real coffee straight from the bean shits all over the instant dried crap you're all talking about. Espresso madness.

Bullshit.

Espresso shots have more caffeine per volume, but less volume, of course. A single shot of espresso typically has around 60 mg of caffeine. Three of these is 180 mg. This is already enough to cause jitter in non-tolerant individuals. Four times this is 720 mg. It's not the LD₅₀, but it is sufficient to cause caffeine overdose.

This thread is soon turning into coffee == math.

If anyone is fucking lame enough to die from a caffeine over dose, they don't deserve to live anyway.
