It's a turn-off but I wouldn't condemn a girl for smoking. I just hate how the smell will stay on your clothes even though you weren't necessarily smoking yourself.

I do not smoke, but I will get the desire to from time to time. This is because my father smokes.

People who START smoking today, or smokers around my age, I view as stupid. Because they start it when there is bazillions of sources telling them how unhealthy it is.

People who started smoking ages ago, or people way older then me, I don't immediately make the stupidity correlation because they started when the facts about smoking were not clear.

But i did experiment when i was a kid... Tbh i didn't think it was addictive at all.

Smoking generally equates to an extreme loss of respect.

Since I'm 18 now, I considered buying a pack of ciggs and just putting them on the kitchen table, still in the packaging. Just to fuck with my parents. (No intention of smoking them)

Anyway, no, I don't smoke. But I also don't have a lot of disrespect for other people that smoke... It's not something I think about a lot though.

It is. But when it's not inhaled, it's not bad at all. Besides that, I'm a chemistry major, and if cigarette smoke is the most damaging substance I will smell, then I'll care. I can already tell you it isn't; concentrated HCl gives off an...unpleasant mist, as does several other substances I've had the joy of playing with. If I really cared, nobody I value smokes, so I can simply hold my breath for the 10 seconds maximum it takes to walk to and past someone's probable smoke cloud.
