Do whatever other people said except going south.

Nothing ever happens - game is dead.

South! Determine the contents of the bottle while you walk.

It appears to be a clear substance composed of hydrogen and oxygen molecules. The bottle has about 12 oz of the dihydrogen monoxide mixture left.

Just here for the pie

Check heat exhaustion meter.

Craft a lens from the concave part of the bottle to fucking see better.

I like games where every narrative post the game takes an unexpected turn full of excitement and events and reveals an interesting story!

Keep the bottle after it is empty. The first thing we need to do is find a legitimate source of water.

The ocean is a legitimate source of water, it just needs to be distilled, which requires few materials. Chances are good that we can find stuff that has washed up on shore as well, you know, like the bottle of fresh water that is currently being drank.

The ocean is a source of food, water, and possible rescue. Anyone who was lost in the desert, found the ocean, and then turned around and walked in the opposite direction would have to be pretty dumb.

I thought about distillation as a source of water, but figured we lacked too many components for it to be feasible. I figure if we follow the coast-line we may find something. And if we ever do get the tools we need, then we can distill water right away.

Go north and west, back toward the coastline.

Edit: Why would you destroy the bottle, thus dumping all the water out and making it impossible to carry more?

You begin to dig down, until you suddenly feel hard cool clay. After working at it a little, you break through the ground, shockingly finding a tunnel. The perspective suddenly makes you aware of your hideous looks and total lack of fashion sense, the only two reasons you will never get a lady. Well, those and your personality.
You are now right underneath the thing.

DarkenedFantasies -- Probably just didn't care. For example, at some point before release, they've updated the graphics of some of the Protoss buildings (Forge, CyberCore, Citadel, Observatory, Arbiter Tribunal), but instead of properly re-rendering them with edited 3D models, they did crappy copy-paste jobs on the rendered graphics.

Ultraviolet -- I suppose we'll likely never know, but my guess would be that they already saw it operating successfully and there was no monetary incentive to finish the original work. And the dev cycle in old school Blizzard was so hectic, it's possible it just got forgotten about after the original game got released. Plus there's an element of existing MPQ files that were packaged with the original discs becoming outdated if they updated it. And it's not like they remade the original MPQs, they just made new ones for BW specifically

Oh_Man -- so that makes me think maybe the theory they are unfinished is not true and its a deliberate design decision, coz why not finish them wen ur making brood war?
[2026-6-21. : 4:25 am]
Oh_Man -- the thing is thos buildings are from classic. that means they went ahead and made brood war without ever finishing the 'unfinished' buildings
[2026-6-20. : 6:15 pm]
Ultraviolet -- Yeah he's talked about a lot of that stuff in his casts before. It seems plausible. Especially knowing how Blizzard of yesteryear operated.
[2026-6-20. : 3:47 pm]
NudeRaider -- to clarify: couldn't recall the behavior for every single Protoss building but I was aware the disparity exists.
