Apparently it's going to release winter 2011, I assume USA winter. New gameplay videos are up and it looks pretty good. Still not sure how I feel about the cartoony character art style.

It hasn't started afaik. They are still doing developer diaries and showing purely developer played games. Red 5 is pretty exclusive.

Or rather that the FireFall logo looks suspiciously like the StarCraft 2 logo? Sort of. A lot of FireFall's design reminds me of SC2.

The red5 team are all from the WoW team, I believe. I wouldn't be surprised if they knew a lot about titan, and maybe got their design cues from that and StarCraft.

I'd also be surprised if they knew a lot about Titan, as from what I hear it is still in very early stages of development. If anything they may have known about the idea and pre-development, but I can't imagine it would be more than that.

I'm just curious, but when do you suppose Mark Kern left Blizzard to start Red 5, and when do you suppose Blizzard began work on Titan? My guess is that since Red 5 said in 2010 that they've been working on it for years, he probably left Blizzard in 2007/2008? I think they started talking about their new MMO in 2007, but didn't start bringing WoW people to it until 2009 (like when Jeff Kaplan left the WoW team to head the Titan team).

Oh and by "they," I meant the team at Red 5 who worked at Blizzard.
