Still Napping

Double spaces often make blocks of text more aesthetically pleasing.

I double-space. Don't know why. The fact that it doesn't show up in most contexts online hasn't stopped this habit of mine.

With the introduction of proportional fonts in computers, double sentence spacing became obsolete, according to many experts.[13]
Stop living in the 80s and using typewriter conventions, unless you're using Courier.

This doesn't matter nearly enough to be in Lite.
I see Lite Discussion as a forum for almost any type of discussing that isn't srs bsns, whereas Null is just for spam and games. :massimo:
Spam is tolerated nowhere except Shoutbox. And even there only if it's not getting too bad.

According to the rules and forum descriptions:
  • SD is a place for formal discussion where grammar, effort and clarity are expected.

  • LD is a for more casual discussions where mistakes and missing sources are tolerated, but you are still expected to be respectful and to make sense.

  • Null is NOT for spam, it's simply for topics that don't fit anywhere else. But they still have to be of general interest or offer discussion value. All of SEN's general rules still apply there. Although standards have been lowered over the last few years.

I think we should septuple-space.       Something about it just looks better.       It's never even occurred to me ever to put more than one space anywhere other than to indent lines.       :\

Actually in my opinion no space is best.It just makes everything look so classy.Y'know?I mean you cannot disagree.

Ugh, there's a guy that routinely comments on a blog I read, who refuses to use spaces after any punctuation marks. When challenged, he didn't have any logical reason for it. Not even "I prefer it", it was something lame like "but then why?" that didn't even make sense.

Double space; its easier for an instructor to make marks on the paper when there is a clear and defining white space saying WRITE HERE or just a sign in general saying THIS IS A NEW SENTENCE.

How do you write anything in this much space >  < as apposed to this much space > <?

"or just a sign in general saying THIS IS A NEW SENTENCE." as was said before: that is what '.' is for.

As Im known to do, my periods are ridiculously small. Also Ive noticed its rather hard to make a noticeable > next to a letter thats supposed to be capital (Mind you this is when the paper isnt in double spaced formatting) when theres no room to fit it in (Used to grade other classmates papers because the teacher was lazy and felt like conning us into doing it for extra credit).

By habit, I also always use two spaces between my sentences. However, it doesn't really matter. What is unequivocally clear is that the space between sentences must be larger than that between words. If the kerning of the punctuation and space accomplishes this with one space, then that's fine.

A period is so small that it functions as a space. Look at your paragraph and see how sentences look like they have a bigger gap as words between them.

ᴄʜᴇᴇsᴇ ɪᴛ!

Often times I can't tell the difference between small/large font commas and periods. If there are 2 spaces between periods, I can tell the difference easily. This font is easy to differentiate, but when the color is, say, green on white, and the period is fairly large, and the comma is only 25% different from a period, it's hard to tell for me.

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.

NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier
