I don't know what DTBK did, but he found a fix for it. The issue, though, was that the fix disabled notifications.

Done some minor stuff (PM sent by Payne).
- For the Magic Boxes, it'd be cool to see our current total score instead of just showing the Top 10 best and worst.
- "©2003-2010 Staredit Network." -> "©2003-2011 Staredit Network."
- Reloading the list of users active in the last 15 minutes removes the "Mark all forum as read" link.

Are the messages fixed? Seems so.

Nope. I deleted old sent messages from the Mafia game, and it stayed at 2 for sent, which is considerably less than I have.
Messing around still, found other problems.

Now, please recheck.

deleting 11 messages takes 2 to -9, at least SEN now does good maths.
Thats a different problem.

I do stuff and thingies... Try widening and reducing the number of small nooks and crannies to correct the problem.
The search below the sub forum page will display everything... e.g. sc2 data finds 110 pages of results for "passive" or "unit".
So that search is nothing more than a "display everything"-function?

EDIT: Since Nude logged, it's 5-->3. Appears as though pre-reload it's 1 over, post-reload it's 1 under.

EDIT: Since Nude logged, it's 5-->3. Appears as though pre-reload it's 1 over, post-reload it's 1 under.Did you check the member's list sorted by activity to see how many members were actually active in the last 15 minutes? I pointed out this problem a while ago; the list doesn't show the last active person, and reloading is 2 under what it should be.
Mark all forums as read
6 guest(s), 4 members active in the last 15 minutes (Reload):
Roy, 24million, Zycorax
Doesn't show the last active person (there were four, according to the activity in the members list).
6 guest(s), 2 members active in the last 15 minutes (Reload):
Roy, 24million, Zycorax
After hitting Reload, the number of active members drops to 2 less than the actual number of active members, and the "Mark all forums as read" link disappears.
Basically, the member count starts as accurate, but the panel does not display the last member in a list of the members active in the past 15 minutes (probably a goof regarding length - 1 or something). When using the reload script, the active members count becomes inaccurate (2 less than actual number) and the "Mark all forums as read" link is removed from the panel (probably being removed during the refresh process and never replaced).
TL;DR The Reload script is glitchy.
Edit: It appears as though all active members now properly display, and the "Mark all forums as read" doesn't vanish. However, reloading still causes the number of active members to drop by 1.

Payne and I have won a total of 33 of the past 50 raffles. If you're going to bitch, aristo, do it about both of us. The raffle is based on chance, which is totally screwed over if only two or three people regularly play it. Please, next time you take a break from SEN, don't come back and bitch immediately when you see something you could have prevented.

I didn't even post about that in this thread, poison, don't pull that "STFU" shit here. Additionally, you overlook one important fact: there is too much positive feedback in raffles. Someone who wins the raffle can afford to buy tickets for at least the next three raffles, maybe more if the pot was larger. Someone who saved up 20 minerals and loses a raffle (which is far more likely than winning the raffle) won't be able to participate in the next one until he or she saves up 20 minerals from posting. The forum games are prohibitively expensive and generally create a trend that makes the rich richer while keeping the poor out with the high per-play costs.
Look at me: I didn't even have 20 minerals before I made the post. How was I supposed to purchase a ticket every round to "lower his chances"? If I lose once, I won't be able to play for a long time period since I have no method of contributing positively to SC2 threads without spamming them as my computer is too shit to run it atm.
It's hard to earn minerals when the non-SC forums yield nothing and the BW section lumbers forward at a rate of 1 post per month. It's easy to buy raffle tickets every round and shut others out when you have 6000 minerals. As it is now, the raffle generates 50 minerals per round and takes away 10 minerals every time someone buys a ticket. As long as fewer than 5 people buy raffle tickets for that round, a net increase in total minerals occurs in the SEN microeconomy. This is undesirable; mineral games should, ideally, yield 1 expected winning or less from per mineral spent playing. Minerals should still, in principle, be gained by productive posting rather than camping at raffles every turn at little or no cost to yourself.
None.
I don't remember exactly, but I believe it would be as easy as changing a 50 to 0 and 10 to 20 to make the Raffle be dependent on members to enter rather than providing a free 50 minerals each time. The Raffle files are all over the place, though, so I'd have to check again.

First off, did I say you posted about that here? No. Second, don't get too worked up over something that won't change. I'm just tired of reading about how the games are rigged. Third, one ticket per round cannot shut anyone out, as playing with an 8000 bank would do nothing to another's chances when all they have is 20 minerals. I'm terribly sorry you're this worked up over something that won't change, because we all know how SEN is. If you'd like, you could play magic boxes. At least then you instantly know that you blew your wad or you got +140 minerals. Your call.
I haven't done much of anything to get minerals, other than play games. I know that you help in MMA (or at least did), which I've given up on because rockz/farty always beat me to the post. The occasional avatar or sig garnered me some, this is true, but that adds up to maybe 100 minerals.
Please, next time you're going to argue about the impossibility to gain minerals when you have none, at least look at who you're arguing with.

You have proven exactly my point, poison. You are extremely rich whereas I am poor, because you got lucky in the SEN mineral games. I daresay that
most people who played forum games earned a net loss because they cannot afford to play multiple times.
@DevliN:
If you are changing the raffle, please consider making the pot yield 50% its value to the winner, with the remainder rolling over to the next round (If the pot is 240 minerals, winner gets 120, and next round the pot will start at 120). If it reset to 0 every round, then there would be no incentive for someone to buy the first ticket. See below. Easier implement and more intuitive to understand for the players.
(A mathematically equivalent alternative would be to simply make the next game's pot start at 50% of the last game's pot, and keeping all the other mechanisms the same. The input of 20 minerals from a raffle ticket is returned to the economy in increments of 10, 5, 2.5, 1.25, 0.625, and so on, so it neither destroys nor creates money.)
None.
The incentive to buy the first ticket would be that they wont lose anything if no one else plays.
Plus you know payne will be buying one every time.
