Yes, this is probably a very simple problem that isn't too hard to solve but how do I convert an .aud file (audacity) to .mp3. I have heard that I should use LAME (pro acronym) but whenever I try to download it, it fails.

None.

The LAME plugin has worked fine for me so far. I've only tried to convert .ogg -> .mp3 though. If the download doesn't work, just try again later.

What do I open LAME encoder thing with once I downloaded it or do I have to use winzip. I tried opening it in audacity but nothing happened

None.

IIRC put it in the same folder as your audacity's exe.

Download this. There's nothing to unzip; you just install it and then use audacity. After I installed that, audacity didn't ask me to locate the file; it just automatically converted the track to mp3. Also, I think you have to let it download in whatever folder it asks to download in.

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.

NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

not the map, the editor

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier
