I get so many phishing emails on my email attached to my WoW account, sometimes I just browse through the email and look at what hidden URL it could have taken me to, it's like a new location in every bag!

I get them occasionally. I do have a question though...can they still hack you if you have an authenticator? Password aside if they don't have an authenticator they can't do anything. Though, before I stopped playing, I heard some hackers had started to figure it out...

They can't hack you if you have an authenticator. There was a claim a year ago that someone developed a middle-man hack that gave you an error when you log in and use the authenticator claiming that the code you entered was incorrect. While you reenter the code, the hack would relay the original code and password tot he "hacker" and they would then be able to log in (if they do it in the next 20 seconds).

As far as I know, this hack never really panned out and I haven't heard of it being used ever.

My friend's account somehow got hacked once and the hackers put an authenticator on it so he couldn't login and change his info. Genius move on their part.

It is possible but extremely unlikely. Basically, a keylogger would have to tell them the authenticator code you put in during logging in and it would still have to be active (which it only is for a few minutes iirc) for them to get in. So, there's a very small window of opportunity, but I have heard of it being possible.

As DevliN says, what happens more often is you get hacked and then an authenticator is put on your account so you have to contact bluzzard.
