13 Townies versus 4 Mafia (not including you, Raccoon, since you didn't start that way). Yeah, I suppose there were more than needed. I guess the saving grace was the lack of a Vigilante, though, so the Town had no night hits other than redirected hits (damn you, Dem0n, for killing me!).

Since it wasn't really addressed, we had the ability to brainwash one person to become Mafia (hence how Raccoon was shifted), and as the Janitor, I had the ability to claim a role as my own when I die (which is why I appeared to be a Doctor in the official count).

He didn't sacrifice himself.

Here's a timeline of events:

Phobos is voted for lynch.
Raccoon ends voting early.
Phobos dies.
Olimar tells us what our "secret abilities" are (unrelated to Phobos dying), and one of the options was converting a player.
Since Raccoon was the hub, we converted him.
Raccoon became Mafia.
